Man Proposes To Girlfriend With Mural, Cool Time Lapse Video
I can’t get enough of watching marriage proposal videos on YouTube. They’re just so romantic. This time we’ve found a marriage proposal that rivals the guy who proposed to Miss New York 2007 in a movie trailer and the guy who surprised his girlfriend by proposing the same way.
In this marriage proposal video, 28-year-old Jeff Gurwin proposed to his girlfriend, 27-year-old Caitlin Fitzsimons, through a New York City mural. She was supposed to meet him for dinner, saw the mural on her way there and then Gurwin got down on one knee and proposed to her. She said “yes,” of course!
Gurwin put a lot of thought behind the mural. According to the Village Voice, the pug dog was modeled after Fitzsimons’ mom’s dog, Parky. The scrabble letters are because Gurwin loves Scrabble and got Fitzsimons to like it, too.
If any of you are wondering, the painting is still available to view between Avenue A and 2nd Street and will be there for a month.
Check out the neat time-lapse video below of the process of creating the mural and the proposal — so cute!
