Twitter Updates App For Mac, Includes Multiple Timelines And Auto-Complete
Attention Mac users: Twitter has released an updated version of its desktop app for Mac. The update is set to make the Twitter for Mac app faster with improved usability and allow users to view multiple timelines at once. Here’s what you can expect from the updated app:
- Users will now be able to open multiple windows, viewing as many timelines as they want at once - including multiple accounts.
- Design changes to the app allow for a much cleaner user experience.
- A new bar at the top of a window will let users quickly view previous pages.
- There’s a separate New Tweet button in the bottom left corner of the app.
- Direct messages have been updated so users can see a whole conversation thread.
- User profiles have been updated and improved for easier interaction.
- The updated app now has username and hashtag auto-complete so users can view a populated list, helping users to tweet faster!
Twitter made some nice improvements to their mobile site on Wednesday and, as a Mac user myself, it’s nice to see the Mac desktop app receive the same kind of attention.
The new update is now available at the Mac App Store.
